About Us
HI, I'M BRIE.
Co-founder of Olivelle
Some of my fondest memories are of cooking with my mom. Sleeves rolled up, music on, the two of us figuring out a recipe together and laughing through whatever we burned. That kitchen is where Olivelle began.
In 2006, I came home to Bozeman, Montana, after college and opened a tiny shop with my mom, Michelle. The plan was simple. Share the way we cooked at home, the kind of meal that pulls everyone to the table without anyone having to call them. But the oils and vinegars we wanted to sell didn't exist, at least not at the quality we'd actually cook with. Many suppliers were masking lower-quality oils with flavor. We weren't going to settle for that. So we made our own.
We started with an early-harvest single-estate extra virgin olive oil and a traditional barrel-aged balsamic from Modena, Italy, a bold move in the industry at the time, and we crafted our own infused oils and vinegars from there. Our customers tasted the difference immediately. That moment set the standard, and we've never let it slip.
Twenty years later, every oil and vinegar we make is still sourced from small family farms that focus on quality over quantity. Every ingredient still has to pass our strict taste guidelines before it earns the Olivelle name. That commitment is non-negotiable. It's the whole reason we exist.
We hope our oils, vinegars, and recipes become an inspiration to you and your family while making memories and creating moments of enjoyment, like the love of food has done for our family.
That's The Art of Flavor®. Fun, easy, and flavorful!
From our kitchen to yours, Brie
